The evolution of a winery
The first Thirty Bench vineyard was planted in 1980, growing premium Riesling grapes, which are among the oldest vines in the region. In 1995, red grapes were planted, including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, Pinot Meunier as well as Pinot Noir.
In the spring of 2000, the north vineyard was planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Gris. In total we have 57 planted acres.
