Beamsville Bench Appellation
The Beamsville Bench is a tiny sub appellation in the Niagara region, fast becoming recognized as one of the best – or perhaps the best- wine growing regions in Ontario. It is one of the few areas where grapes are planted on a steep slope – a unique micro-climate with excellent air and water drainage.
The longer growing season allows the grapes to become more ripe than in other microclimates, and the cooler nights contribute to more intense flavours.
